Estudio comparativo sobre la presencia de Hielicobacter Pylori en heces, en estudiantes de los Quintos Años de Educación Básica de la Escuela José Antonio Eguiguren La Salle de la ciudad de Loja y el Centro de Educación Básica ciudad de Latacunga de la parroquia Panguitza perteneciente a la Provincia de Zamora Chinchipe durante el periodo de mayo abril del 2012.

Helicobacter pylori is a bacterium that has a direct relationship to the development of gastroduodenal disease . It was discovered by scientists Robin Warren and Barry Marshall in 1982 . In the Ecuador mortality diseases such as gastric cancer and MALT lymphoma caused primarily by the colonization of this gram-negative bacterium is a growing trend, causing 1367 deaths per year, this bacterium is acquired from childhood but most pediatric patients manifest some sort of intestinal symptoms. This study of the prevalence of Helicobacter pylori in children and descriptive cross was performed by imnunocromatrografia technique that detects Helicobacter pylori antigens in stool , which is a modern method that significantly increased their sensitivity and specificity , and , a total of 60 samples obtained and considering inclusion and exclusion criteria , it was verified that there are cases of Helicobacter pylori infection , not related to gender, or the rural or urban environment in which they live, and the difference is about 10% figure for the Chi -square is not statistically representative .
