Description
Summary:The results of a didactic intervention carried out in the "Manuel Ignacio Monteros Valdivieso" school, in the city of Loja (Ecuador), through the application of a didactic sequence based on the techniques of Gianni Rodari (1983) to support the process of writing scary stories are presented. Based on what was postulated by Acurio (2020), Álvarez (2014), Rozo (2020), Álvarez (2018) and Gracia (2019), about the implementation of didactic strategies that contribute to the text production process. The research was directed to 18 students of Eighth Year of General Basic- Higher Education, with ages between 11 and 12 years old. The study was developed under a qualitative approach where the researcher plays the role of a teacher, through an applied research over 5 weeks. The most crucial results show that the application of the techniques such as binomial fantastic, stories to tell and writing through an image, significantly promote the writing of scary stories, since the execution of the techniques the students who reach the DAR and AAR category consider the planning process of writing, the properties of the text, the structure and elements of the story to produce creative texts. Keywords: didactics of writing - creative writing - scary stories - didactic intervention.
