Aggiungi Tag | Riassunto: | This research aims to analyze the functioning and administrative behavior of the university store, understanding, thus, how daily activities are carried out and its service to the university community and local population. Its objective was to design an administrative management model that defines the administrative and operational processes in a clear way, identifying critical points and areas for improvement that allow optimizing procedures with a well-designed proposal that facilitates the development of activities efficiently. The deductive method was applied as a methodology, with a mixed approach that combined qualitative and quantitative techniques to efficiently visualize administrative management and other management parameters, applying a cross-sectional design, different processes were evaluated at a given time, likewise interviews were conducted with key authorities and surveys directed to the store's customers, direct observation allowed to demonstrate the reality of the management that served as a basis for the research, opting for convenience sampling directed towards a representative group of the university community determining the critical points and areas for improvement. The results revealed the lack of an administrative plan, with inefficiencies in the existing processes carried out in an empirical manner, evidenced by the poor distribution of responsibilities to the staff, lack of a clear organizational structure and confusing decision- making. It is concluded that operating without strategic planning and without a defined administrative management model forces the administration to empirical and improvised management, significantly affecting the efficiency and achievement of the results expected by the public company (IMPETU) of the National University of Loja. |
