Resumo:The syndrome of learned helplessness occurs when a person is inhibited or blocked in an aversive situation, even more so when they are being a victim of violence, consequently, they learn to be passive, generating in most cases anxiety and depression. For this reason, this research proposes to determine the relationship between syndrome of learned helplessness with Anxiety and Depression in Women Victims of Domestic Violence in a Victim Care Center in the city of Loja. The methodology used has a nonexperimental, cross-sectional design, with a quantitative approach and a descriptive, correlational type; the sample was 78 women victims of violence. The syndrome of learned helplessness Scale, the Hamilton Anxiety Scale, and the Beck Depression Inventory were used. The results showed a high percentage in moderate learned helplessness and severe in the three factors, also in relation to depression and anxiety with a moderate level in its majority. In conclusion, it is verified that there is a significant relationship between these variables
