| Samenvatting: | This thesis allows to analyze the technical losses of power and energy in the primary feeders Pózul, Pindal, Zapotillo, Alamor and Sabanilla of Pindal substation of the factory Electric Regional del Sur S.A., to improve energy efficiency in the primary distribution stage, for which a study is developed to identify the strategies that contribute to the reduction of losses complying with the voltage levels established in regulation No. ARCERNNR 002/20 (Codified), with the analysis of the growth of the maximum non-coincident power demand of each feeder in the short, medium and long term scenarios. The methodology is based on the analysis of historical data of maximum demands from January 2019 to May 2024, projecting until the year 2034; Subsequently, through load flow modeling with Cymdist software, the variables of voltage levels and technical power losses are obtained and through the application of equations, the technical energy losses are determined in the proposed scenarios; through the application and evaluation of technical criteria, the best strategies are established to reduce technical losses and meet voltage levels. The repowering with the change of caliber of the conductors in the feeders contributed to reducing technical losses due to conduction, due to the reduction of electrical resistance in them. The greatest reduction of technical energy and power losses in the primary feeders was achieved in the short term, with the execution of strategies such as the repowering and interconnection of the Pindal – Alamor feeders, construction of the Zapotillo S/E and reconfiguration of the Zapotillo A/P, reducing 868,71 MWh/year, which represents 2,96 % in energy losses and 171,95 kW, which represents 3,29 % in power losses. Keywords: efficiency, strategies, power, reconfiguration, regulation No. ARCERNNR 002/20, repowering. |
