Propuesta de un manual de seguridad y salud ocupacional para la empresa Puerta del Sol de la ciudad de Loja

This research work entitled "Proposal for an Occupational Health and Safety Manual for the company Puertas del Sol of the City of Loja". Its general objective was to propose an Occupational Health and Safety Management system, through the production of a manual for Puertas del Sol, in the city of Loja, whose main activity is the commercialization of wholesale consumer products and less. The specific objectives of the following investigation are: make a diagnosis of the current situation of the company in terms of occupational health and safety, make a proposal for an occupational health and safety manual for the company Puerta del Sol. Within the techniques used this: the observation, used in the visits and physical findings that were made to the company, the survey applied to the workers, the same one that allowed internal analysis of the company, the interview with the owner manager where they highlighted the weaknesses and strengths of the business. A survey was carried out with 18 workers of the company, and the Manager was also interviewed, where it was learned that, being this way, both parties agree; that the company does not meet the requirements of the law, but is taking the necessary measures. 100% of workers know about occupational safety and health, and for this reason, they recognize the shortcomings of the company in this area as protective equipment, the formation of a joint committee; but they clarify that there has been support from the owners in cases of illness and accidents. At the end of the study, it was concluded that the proposed manual should be socialized and put into practice, in order to reduce the risks to which workers are exposed; In addition, it is recommended to carry out training and drills, as well as: comply with all the requirements of the law to achieve the loyalty of all Puertas del Sol personnel.
