Summary:This thesis refers to CHILD ABUSE AND ITS IMPACT ON BASIC GENERAL EDUCATION FIRST DEGREE CHILDREN LEARNING "SAN VICENTE FERRER" SCHOOL ALAUSI CANTON, CHIMBORAZO PROVINCE, 2013-2014 ACADEMIC YEAR. GUIDELINES PROACTIVE. The general objective was: To analyze the incidence of child abuse in the learning of children in First Grade Basic General Education of "San Vicente Ferrer" School Alausí Canton, Chimborazo Province, 2013-2014. The methods used for the preparation of this research work were: Scientist, inductive-deductive, Analytical-Synthetic, and statistical model, the techniques used were: A behavioral survey applied to parents to set the type of child abuse suffered by children, the physical indicators and Abuse psychological presenting and Observation Guide that apply to children in the on Basic General Education first grade "San Vicente Ferrer" School to assess Children Learning. From the results obtained with the survey of parents it is concluded that: 43% of parents surveyed families state that the proper way to discipline your son / daughter is with physical punishment, 36% do not use any kind of punishment, and 21% believe that psychological punishment, also expressed by 75% of parents who talk with their children before punishing them, 25% don´t. The child abuse is a universal problem that has existed since ancient times, however it is in the twentieth century with the declaration of the rights of the child, when it is considered as a crime and a problem of deep psychological social, ethical, legal and medical impact. With the implementation of the Observation Guide to the children it was found that: 62% scored a rating of Very Satisfactory, 30% achieved a satisfactory rating, and 8% were able to achieve a rating of Unsatisfactory for what is concluded that learning is reflected in the way we respond to environmental, social, emotional and physical stimuli, to understand new information.
