Sumario:This research work aims to Inquire about early intervention and its impact on motor development of children aged 1 to 6 years old with Down syndrome , in the center of care and development of children and adolescents special CADE city of Loja, to conduct research was sampled eight children with Down syndrome and 10 professional therapists ; scientific , descriptive and explanatory method was used , including techniques and tools for field research was used: structured survey staff of the institution , the questionnaire for the measurement of motor skills of children of 1-6 years, with the objective of designing an early intervention program that promotes optimal child development / a Down , with a set of applicable maximum development in their own areas of childhood motor activities; with this research study found that at CADE , professionals know some types of early intervention ; but no known systematic exercise therapy programs and activities designed to address developmental delays that may suffer the children with Down syndrome or other disabilities , so it is recommended for children with Down syndrome in the CADE , they undertake a process of therapeutic care , Updated with early intervention programs with appropriate strategies to enhance motor development of children with Down syndrome, who enter this institution , from the first month of age.
