However, there is a growing disparity between this general agreement and the reality that indicates the public spending of developing countries on basic services. That is why the purpose of this research was born as a result of the interest of knowing what is the problem that rural parishes have about water service, so that the 13 rural neighborhoods of Santiago Parish have been taken as the target population. In Santiago Parish, “access to basic services is poor and in particular the water service” (PDOT, 2015). The scale or levels of satisfaction were used in a questionnaire to know if the inhabitants are satisfied or dissatisfied with the water service. It was proposed to diagnose the conditions in the provision of the water service and establish the satisfaction of the needs of the users. The following was determined: all have the service but receive piped water without treatment; the water they receive comes from 92% of the watershed, 79% arrives from the pipeline outside the home, 74% said that the service has not improved versus 26% said that if it has improved and in a greater percentage the users they find little satisfied with the water service that is equivalent to 52% of the population under study, which determines an average level of satisfaction. |
