| Zusammenfassung: | The objective of the present investigation was to carry out the characterization of the breeding systems (SC); with a sample of 440 animals between males and females, morphometric measurements (MM) where weight (P), thoracic perimeter (PT), leg length (LP), tarsus length (LT), neck length (LC) were considered. ), length of the back (LD), ventral length of the keel (LVQ), wing length (LA), head length (LC), head width (AC), peak length (LP); and phaneroptics (CF) characteristics such as size (T), ridge type (TC), skin color (CP), tarsi color (CT), eye color (CO), peak color (CP), plumage color (CP) of the fighting birds of the Province of Loja. A descriptive statistical analysis was performed for SC and CF multivariate analysis for MM determining percentages, averages, and standard deviation. The results obtained for SC socio-economic characterization indicate that the owners of the farms work as traders 60%, agriculture 25%, livestock 15%, in the production of eggs depends on the number of chickens they own, with a number of 20 per shed , the same ones that serve for the reproduction of this species, in the management whether they are males or females, is in an intensive form, where the birds are fed once a day and they are given water and food in individual feeders due to their degree of aggressiveness especially in males. The health of the birds is good because they are completely wormed, and vaccinated for different diseases such as Newcastle, Cholera, Smallpox, in the commercialization is mainly for reproduction where large amounts of money are invested by the owner, in order of trying to improve the fighting characteristics of their animals. For MM, correlations were made for the males (P <0.05), giving us that between weight and thoracic perimeter (0.630), head width (0.497), length of tarzo (0.494), for the females the correlations were between weight and perimeter thoracic (0.538), leg length with (0.572), wing length (0.517). For CFs for males and females the most predominant size was medium (90%) and (97.9%), the type of ridge was simple type (67%) and (70.7%), the skin color was yellow (97.3) %) and (91.4%), the color of tarsi was yellow, the one with the highest frequency (84%) and (65%), the eye color that predominated was red (65.3%) and (77.9%), the color of The most frequent peak was yellow (69.3%) and (59.3%), the color of plumage is very varied, being the most common red in males (76%), and in females it is red (57.9%) . |
