Igualdad de responsabilidades de los progenitores en compartir el pago de la pensión alimenticia de sus hijos para su desarrollo integral

This degree thesis is entitled "Equality of responsibilities of parents in sharing the payment of alimony for their children for their integral development", this research work focuses on the study of the lack of responsibility of parents in sharing the alimony payments, not simply in providing food to which the parents are obliged, but in everything, for example: the care and affection that minors require from their parents, this being a right inescapable that has minors. In this way, the research will be directed towards the approach of a feasible solution that benefits children and adolescents, since they are the fundamental element that the country has, in terms of the application of its fundamental principles, as well as priority attention, as it is the most vulnerable sector of society. The study carried out shows that most of the time the obligation to pay child support is covered only by the father (male), here it’s where the inequality of parental obligations arises. In the development of the thesis, materials and methods were applied that allowed the development of the research, as well as interviews and surveys to legal professionals, whose results served to propose a Legal Reform Project to the Organic Code of Childhood and Adolescence, with the purpose of implementing equality in the payment of alimony by parents, in order to guarantee the rights of children and adolescents, thereby making their best interests effective and in turn guaranteeing the principle of equality and parental co-responsibility.
