Résumé:The thesis entitled "Audit of the Human Resource Management of the South Regional Empresa Electrica S.A. Catamayo agency "was performed in order to comply with the objectives that were aimed at measuring the efficiency, effectiveness and quality with which staff activities of the entity are developed; in addition to applying the methodology and techniques to obtain audit evidence supporting the final report. To fulfill the goals you have this work a visit was conducted and a survey was applied to each of the members that are part of the institution in order to obtain information, then through the internal control questionnaire could analyze these data which allowed me to discover significant findings that are described using narrative, giving me step to implement management indicators that allowed me to assess the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of activities that meets staff; immediately gave way to comments, conclusions and recommendations are addressed to take corrective actions that help optimize their business development resources. we can finally conclude that the institution does not have the right people for the position they play and also has training preventing staff development, considering that this is an institution that has a considerable level of risk so it is recommended are met with the guidelines established in the bylaws of the company in order to have the qualified personnel; also no performance evaluations are conducted to know the levels of efficiency and effectiveness in the performance of their duties. However, the agency needs to hire the required number of employees to carry out their activities.
