In view of this clear market opportunity, this research, which aims to determine the feasibility of creating a veterinary clinic to provide health care services in the city of Latacunga is presented. The main objective of this project is to determine the commercial, technical, organizational and financial feasibility of the implementation of the project; - Statistical and technical and scientific, historical, deductive, inductive, analytical, mathematical: to achieve the goals various methods and research techniques that enabled comply with the regulations required for this type of work, the main highlight methods were used bibliography observation, interviews and surveys. This feasibility study started with market research, where it is stated that the project objective market are the families of the Latacunga city, socio middle economic class, the same which is composed of 50,405 families, also through the application of a survey found that 86.9% of households have pets 7 resulting in a potential demand for 43,802. 72.30% of these the 31,669 that is manifest that if they use services of veterinary medical centers, corresponding to actual demand. Then taking into account that at least take their pets 2 times a year proceed to project the real demand for 5 years from these values are effective demand considering that this comes from 90% of all people who show that if our services occupy PET'S LOVE. After determining the demand, supply service in the City was established; taking data from the Chamber of Commerce of Latacunga is obtained that there are 26 businesses engaged in similar activities, but only 14 (53.85%) of them offer the same services as those offered by PET'S LOVE A questionnaire was formulated questions through a survey and establishes that c / u has an average of 12 daily consultations or 3120 consultations / year; finally if we multiply by 14 clinics we offer a total of 43680 visits per year. In the last chapter, analysis and financial evaluation of the project, where it is determined that the initial investment is $ 60,682.55 which will be financed with contributions 67.04% owner and 32.96% with presented with a 5-year bank loan term; plus costs and revenues of the services for the preparation of the pro forma financial statements with a 5-year projection are determined. As a result of the financial study, the project is profitable in all evaluation criteria analyzed, has a positive NPV of 59,563.83; an IRR of 37.88%, which represents a superior opportunity cost of capital (11,20%) and Cost Benefit rate indicates that for every dollar invested a profit of $ 0.53 cents profitability will be obtained. Finally it is concluded that the proposed creation of a Veterinary Clinic in the city of Latacunga, is viable both operationally and financially.
