Crynodeb:The Ecuadorian Civil Code, Book I, in Article 222, recognizes the UNION MADE as "The Free stable and monogamous union of a man and a woman, marriage with another, forming a de facto household, for the period and under the circumstances that this Code will generate the same rights and obligations of families formed by marriage, including with respect to the legal presumption of paternity and conjugal society ... Therefore, it is essential to promote a reform of the Civil Code Art. 222, governing domestic partnerships according to the supreme law of the current Constitution, so that citizens can achieve true inclusion in society people belonging to this group, and also for them to know the legal instruments that today protect and safeguard their rights as partners; to demand and demand compliance.
