Shrnutí:Vocabulary is the set of words that a person knows and uses in a language. It is essential for communication and includes common, technical, and specialized terms to express ideas and concepts. For this research the following objectives have been established, the general objective of this research was to enhance students’ vocabulary learning by implementing dynamic activities among superior basic education students at a public institution in Loja, school year 2023-2024. Related to this objective two specific objectives were raised; to measure the effectiveness of dynamic activities as a means of learning vocabulary among superior basic education students at a public institution in Loja, school year 2023-2024, the second general objective was to find out the students’ perception about the application of dynamic activities as a means of learning vocabulary among superior basic education students at a public institution in Loja, school year 2023-2024. This study involved 29 students in eighth grade from a public institution in Loja. Furthermore, action research in conjunction with the mixed method was used in this study. In the same way, a pre-test and post-test were used to collect the students’ knowledge. In addition, a mixed-type questionnaire and field notes helped the researcher to gather the students' perceptions. Quantitative and qualitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and represented in graphs and a thematic analysis was also used in narrative form. The results obtained showed that students improved their vocabulary after the application of the dynamic activities in class, specifically in its three principal aspects meaning, use, and form. Additionally, qualitative data suggests that students were highly motivated, interested, and actively engaged in class activities.
