The development work was based on the fulfillment of the overall objective to analyze and assess economic and financial support to the credit union Inti Wasi Ltda. Saraguro city during the period 2013-2014. Similarly, the fulfillment of specific objectives was necessary: Apply and interpret financial indicators of solvency, profitability, indebtedness, activity, and the governing body established by the regulator, which determined the economic and financial situation of the cooperative and were compared standards issued by regulators. It's that same Assess the financial structure, working capital, cash conversion cycle and equilibrium point and financial risk, to diagnose the financial position of the cooperative and its economic and financial performance measure. Finally Prepare the final report and argue easily understood by managers and directors in which they presented the results of the analysis and economic evaluation and financial situation of the cooperative. |

INTI COOP de la ciudad de Saraguro, periodo 2013-2014”; permitió conocer la posición económica y financiera de la cooperativa a través del análisis y evaluación de los datos presentados en los Estados Financieros; su importancia radica en que permite estar al tanto de los niveles de rentabilidad, riesgo, competitividad y sostenibilidad de las actividades en el tiempo; para determinar la eficacia de la gestión financiera, el éxito de la cooperativa y la maximización de valor para los socios. El desarrollo del trabajo de tesis, se basó en el cumplimiento del objetivo general de Analizar y Evaluar Económica y Financieramente a la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Inti Wasi Ltda. durante el período 2013–2014. De igual manera fue necesario el cumplimiento de objetivos específicos de: Aplicar e interpretar indicadores financieros de solvencia, rentabilidad, endeudamiento, actividad, y los establecidos por el organismo máximo regulador del sector, que determinaron la situación económica y financiera de la cooperativa y fueron comparados con los estándares emitidos por los entes reguladores. Así mismo de Evaluar la estructura financiera, capital de trabajo, ciclo de conversión del efectivo y punto de equilibrio y riesgo financiero, que midieron el desempeño económico financiero de la cooperativa. Finalmente de Preparar y argumentar el informe final de fácil comprensión para directivos y administradores en el que se presentaron los de resultados del análisis y evaluación y de la situación de la cooperativa. 3 La ejecución del trabajo de tesis se apoyó en métodos y técnicas que permitieron alcanzar el conocimiento objetivo del desarrollo de las diferentes actividades financieras de la cooperativa. Se inicia con el conocimiento de la problemática que enfrenta el sector Cooperativo; seguidamente se procede a la recolección e investigación de datos bibliográficos referente al tema de análisis y evaluación económica financiero para de esta manera tener claro los procedimientos aplicables a la cooperativa; para continuar con el proceso se solicita a la cooperativa los Estados Financieros de los años 2013 y 2014, las Políticas Financieras, Contables y Crediticias, Balance de Comprobación de los años 2013 y 2014; con la información requerida se desarrolla el análisis de la actividad financiera a través del estudio de la estructura económica y financiera mediante la utilización del método vertical de análisis financiero, se aplicaron los diferentes tipos de indicadores generales (liquidez, actividad, rentabilidad y endeudamiento) y los establecidos por la Superintendencia de Economía Popular y Solidaria (SEPS) que es el organismo máximo de control del sector cooperativo, a más de incluir la evaluación del capital de trabajo, ciclo de conversión del efectivo y los riesgos a los que se expone la actividad financiera; con los resultados obtenidos del análisis y evaluación se procede a realizar el informe a ser presentado a los Directivos de la cooperativa, en el que se destacan los puntos más relevantes del estudio y las estrategias de mejoramiento de la gestión financiera. Finalmente se presentan las Conclusiones y Recomendaciones del trabajo, que servirán para conocer en resumen la realidad de los datos presentados en los Estados Financieros y las posibles alternativas de solución para el mejoramiento de las 4 actividades, que aseguren el crecimiento de la rentabilidad económica-financiera y la sostenibilidad en el tiempo brindando servicio de calidad y con calidez. Luego del análisis de los datos presentados en los Estados Financieros, la conclusión que más se destaca es que las decisiones tomadas por los directivos y administradores de la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito “Inti Wasi” Ltda.
