Within the family group can integrate or disintegrate internal relationships, in the disintegrated that detect the presence of conflict between parents and children, manifested in destructive and violent behavior, which limits good family relationships. With this problem it was proposed: Assertive communication techniques for the management of conflicts between parents and children. The general objective: Implement assertive communication techniques for the management of conflicts between parents and children in the ninth year A students, Colegio Pío Jaramillo Alvarado. Descriptive study, of cross section, pre-experimental design; based on the scientific theoretical method. The Parental Practices Scale for adolescents was applied in a sample of 29 students from the parallel A. The results (pre-test), conflicts with the father 65.52% low communication and behavioral control, with the mother the 55.17 % in low levels in communication, in paternal autonomy 75.86% and maternal 62.07% being in a low level, in terms of behavioral control with mother have a low level with 68.97%. After the intervention (post-test) the changes are manifested that imply minor conflicts due to a high level of communication and control with the father in 68.98% and with the mother the communication improves with 65.52%, there is respect for autonomy with a high level of 62.07% for both father and mother, 62.07% manifest a high level of behavioral control. The applied proposal (workshops) based on the techniques of assertive communication, statistically proven through the linear correlation of Karl Pearson reaches values with high and moderate positive correlation significance. It is concluded that the techniques of assertive communication enabled the management of conflicts between parents and children, reaching a positive correlation, which validates the application of the proposal. |
