| Shrnutí: | The company Café Indera, with its distribution and sales store located in the city of Loja, in the streets 18 de Noviembre between 10 de Agosto and José Antonio Eguiguren, seeks the improvement of the production processes, specifically the coffee roasting process, implementing new technologies. The present project proposes a solution to this problem by designing a coffee roaster using hot air flow, this solution is based on the proposed system ensures uniform roasting, quality control, improves working conditions, reduces the risk of accidents, reduce labor costs, among other advantages. Based on technical information about the toaster proposal and the productive needs of the company, each of the main components was designed and dimensioned, paying more attention to the characterization of the hot air flow and to the electromechanical elements that ensure the required functional parameters. The design obtained proposes the use of a centrifugal fan for industrial applications and an air heating system that uses LPG for the calorific power that it provides and its easy acquisition at present. |
