With this background the present study to analyze generally microcredit and its contribution to the development of traders Central City Market Cariamanga, for which the literature review was developed, taking into account the general background is done microfinance and especially the theoretical foundations of microcredit is the instrument developed in the field of microfinance. Furthermore, a diagnosis of traders was made to meet their current socioeconomic situation, an analysis of the contribution of microcredit to the socioeconomic development of traders, establishing conditions and access to microcredit and the proposed design of the training plan for merchants. For this purpose, methods, techniques and research tools, such as were used: the analytical method which allowed depth knowledge of the research topic, with emphasis on the analysis of the results obtained in order to meet the objectives, was applied a survey of traders to determine their socioeconomic status and the impact that microcredit has had in its business. Also, interviews were conducted with the heads of the credit department of the leading financial institutions in the city of Cariamanga and observation of the environment in which traders are developed and official publications on credit, interest rates and requirements applying financial institutions in order to meet the general aspects of microcredit. From the results it highlighted that microcredit contributes positively to traders allowing them to generate self-employment, improve their living conditions, increase sales and therefore increase your income. However, it was evident that employment generation or the generation of new ventures are aspects where microcredit has not contributed in any significant way and has only served to maintain or expand the business, but not to generate new business or new spaces work. As for the conditions and access to microcredit are related directly since, requirements, procedures, safeguards and interests seeking financial institutions make or facilitate access to this type of credit.Likewise, the proposal of a training plan financial education will allow beneficiaries to gain knowledge on issues of saving, budgeting, use of financial products and services, mainly of microcredit, which is used by traders to finance their economic activities. All these aspects contribute to the proper management of your business and family well-being. Finally, it is recommended that financial institutions designed micro-credit schemes, fast-disbursing, with simple procedures to facilitate access and to suit the needs and conditions of traders.
