Resumo:In the research process "evaluation indicators essential for the development of skills with performance criteria in the area of language learning literature shaft hildren hear in fourth-year basic education school" Julio Espinoza Ordonez , period 2011 - 2012, it was proposed to contribute to alternative proposals for better implementation of the basic indicators of evaluation, to develop skills with performance criteria in the area of language arts learning the listening axis in children fourth year of basic education school Espinoza Ordonez July 2011-2012 school year, which was used for the scientific method, analytical, inductive and deductive techniques as well as literature, statistics and survey. The main results of the research found that teachers used in the development of skills in the area of language arts learning axis listening, critical evaluation indicators not as concrete evidence of learning outcomes, situation caused by the practice of every teacher spontaneist imposing their decisions on how to impart their knowledge and who happen to be single for the time inmediatistas, for not thinking about the long term, not just think about tomorrow today think. It is therefore necessary to analyze, understand, evaluate and apply in practice the use of new evaluation indicators essential to foster sound decision making, appropriate and feasible to solve the pressing educational disagreements, stating the essential performance must demonstrate the students. It is important to reflect the need for teachers to
