Zusammenfassung:Social justice should be used as an instrument to achieve a greater probability of success in these kind of projects. In this research, the social justice perception and the environmental conflict levels were evaluated and compared in two ecological restoration projects, developed by the ONG Naturaleza y Cultura Internacional in different provinces of Loja (Pisaca Reserve) and Zamora Chinchipe (Jamboé Reserve). To evaluate the social justice perception, information was collected through dialogues with key actors and surveys were applied to the Pisaca and Jamboé communities, subsequently, the relative frequencies of the evaluated questions in each section were calculated: benefits, trust, nature appreciation, attitudes towards restoration projects, participation and perception of environmental conflicts. To compare the social justice perception, a multi-criteria analysis was developed which allowed us to assess and categorize the criteria and guidelines of the dimensions of equity: distributive and recognition. In addition, the environmental conflicts perception were assessed and it was determined how the social justice and environmental conflicts influence on the success of the restoration, it was measured with the question “would you participate in a new restoration project again?” According to the results, the trust and appreciation sections presented the best percentages, however, it was the opposite in benefits, attitudes towards restoration projects and perception of environmental conflicts. The social justice results are 77/100 for Pisaca and 64/100 for Jamboé. Pisaca (96%) presented greater restoration success than Jamboé (82%). In these two reserves exist a good social justice, however, those criteria with low percentages must be strengthened, and thus ensure the restoration success.
