Tóm tắt:This study "Production and Marketing of lupine (Lupinus mutabilis Sweet), in the communities of Saraguro canton province of Loja", was raised for the purpose of analyzing the production-consumption circuit, detect its limitations and raise a technically economic proposal allows to improve the living conditions of the producers involved in this production. The research scenario it was the Saraguro canton of the province of Loja. Primary and secondary information was used; the first rescued from libraries, public institutions and the Internet; and the second obtained through surveys of: producers, traders, transporters and consumers. On this basis it was identified that the production of lupine in Canton Saraguro is 681.8 kg / ha, with a traditional management recently modernized, production cost for one hectare of doddering amounted to $ 1087.74 which compared to net income (2512.26 dollars), a profit of $ 1.02 was obtained for every dollar invested. On the other hand poor post-harvest handling and marketing of grain and no transformation of the raw material was noted. The proposal of the company bittering lupine financial evaluation was done being acceptable with Added Net (VAN) value reaching US $ 8431.27 and an Internal Rate of Return (TIR) of 24.3%, values that exceed the rate of opportunity governing local financial institutions.
