Vulneración a la integridad sexual de los aspirantes en las Escuelas de Formación de Policía Nacional del Ecuador

It is important to effectively address this serious problem by implementing clear preventive and punitive policies to combat sexual violence in Police Training Schools. This involves fostering a safe and respectful environment, offering consent and human rights training, and ensuring that victims have access to effective reporting channels, as well as psychological and legal support. Jointly, it is necessary to establish inspection and accountability mechanisms to guarantee appropriate investigation and punishment of cases of violation of sexual integrity in the police sphere. Transparency and collaboration with human rights organizations and civil society are essential to achieve significant changes and eradicate this type of behavior in the security forces. In summary, the violation of the sexual integrity of applicants in Police Training Schools is a serious problem that requires urgent and decisive action to protect the human rights, dignity, and well-being of those who wish to serve society as members of the security forces.
