| Shrnutí: | Leaving aside a man of his responsibility to ensure the welfare of their children, he is deprived of his affection, his support to meet the material and spiritual needs. Therefore it is necessary to enforce the responsibility of their parents. The comprehensive protection of children and adolescents has been a constant concern of the Costa Rican State and included efforts Legislative both, as in the supranational framework regulated by international conventions on constitutional and legal level. Doingpossible that all minor has an established affiliation ispart of these moral obligations assumed by the State. The responsible parenthood is that parents have to comply with all the joys and responsibilities for the upbringing and education of their children. This goes beyond the recognition of paternity by the action of the paternity test or guarantee of financial support. Couples who intend to have children must be aware that it is a responsibility, as these prenatal birth should be made to avoid further problems and risks for the baby during pregnancy for the mother.
