In this sense, the general objective was set to "Contribute to society in the construction of effective solutions, applying citizen participation mechanisms, in accordance with the realities of each locality." For the development of the work, it was based on a methodology of mixed approach and a non-experimental design; the scope of this is exploratory-descriptive, aimed at understanding the current situation of the neighborhood, without it being necessary to verify hypotheses, but rather to identify and describe in detail the problems that affect the community. The study is cross-sectional; the methods used were inductive and analytical, and the instruments were based on direct observation, survey and interview, aimed at a population of 258 respondents and 4 interviewees. work, it is indicated that citizens were trained in topics of citizen participation mechanisms, on the other hand, it was possible to detect that the biggest problem was the lack of sewage, followed by the need to pave or fix the streets and passages. With this background, it helped the neighborhood board to meet and reach agreements with the pertinent authorities.
