FORTALECIMIENTO TURÍSTICO AL PLAN DE DESARROLLO Y ORDENAMIENTO TERRITORIAL (PDOT) PARA LA PARROQUIA EL TAMBO, CANTÓN CATAMAYO, PROVINCIA DE LOJA”

Tourism trends worldwide are increasingly more, and with greater demands, considering that responsible tourism has become a tool to fight poverty and the driver of economic growth for the development and welfare of countries in the process of development, for which it is essential to make a tourism planning that is vitally important to ensure a proper dynamism of tourist destinations and a territorial development based on sustainable criteria that maximizes positive effects of each action. Ecuador is one of the countries that has great diversity both natural and cultural and that aims to boost the economy and progress of peoples and communities that can be achieved together with academic contributions from local universities, which has been seen the need to propose the following project titled "Tourism Strengthening of the Development Plan and Land Use Planning (PDOT) for El Tambo Parish, Catamayo Canton, Loja Province", as an alternative for economic development for the community, where mainly the authorities locals are those who plan and manage proposals that benefit the parish. For the development of the present investigation, a general objective was proposed: "To strengthen the tourism development plan and territorial order for the parish of El Tambo, canton Catamayo, province of Loja"; and three specific objectives: 1) To carry out the diagnosis of the tourist component of the parish of El Tambo, canton Catamayo, province of Loja, which allowed, through the methodology of Carla Ricaurte, to determine the current situation of the parish, its attractions and infrastructure In addition, through a participatory methodology, prioritize existing attractions, know the internal and external factors that benefit and harm the development of tourism. 2) "Prepare a tourism development proposal for the parish of El Tambo, canton Catamayo, province of Loja", with the results obtained from the participatory workshop a proposal was designed with each strategic objective and a participatory workshop was held where each strategic objective was socialized with different aspects to be considered, with the purpose that attendees select a proposal for each objective, for later on it to establish 5 strategies.3) "Propose strategies for the implementation of the development plan in the Parroquia El Tambo, canton Catamayo, Province of Loja ", with the results obtained from the participatory workshop, application strategies were designed for the PDOT: Design a Tourist Route; Implement a Tourist Information Center; establish tourist campaigns; Integrate the parish in External fairs; implement a tourist recreation center in El Tambo parish. The present thesis work is based strictly on the methodology for communities of the author Carla Ricaurte Quijano, the methodology of Rapid Analysis and Participatory Planning (MARPP) and the MINTUR 2017 methodology with the application of the following methods: Analytical method, the synthetic method and descriptive also within the techniques used the technique of direct observation and interview technique, all these methods have allowed to successfully develop the present thesis work. Within the results, the diagnosis of the touristic component of the parish was made, which allowed obtaining information on the current situation of El Tambo. Afterwards, application proposals were elaborated with the results of the FODA Matrix that were subsequently selected with the participation of the community. and finally, strategies were developed with detailed objectives and characteristics to be met. As regards the conclusions, it has been mainly aimed at the GAD and the tourism regulatory institutions, since they are the main ones interested in improving the infrastructure and superstructure of the parish, and it is also important to mention that at the moment there is no tourist planning for the parish. The Tambo on the part of the authorities and competent organisms, because they have not considered the existence of the tourist attractions within the plan of development and territorial ordering For the strategies to be executed correctly and obtain positive results, it is recommended that the GAD designate a budget aimed at tourism, and it is important to establish agreements with public and private institutions that serve as an alliance to promote a tourism product. and to manage training, in addition to establish agreements with educational institutions to receive academic contributions, as it is also important that they work on the accessibility of the neighborhoods and the adaptation of the trails that lack tourist signage and do not facilitate the entry of the people who visit the attractive.
