Lisää tagi | Yhteenveto: | The farm of the Loja Prefecture, dedicated to pig production located in the Yamana parish, Canton Paltas, Province of Loja, Ecuador, has not standardized its production activities, which is why a manual of good pig production practices was prepared, according to regulation 0217 established by the Agrocalidad Control Agency. The collection of information necessary to carry out the work was through a diagnosis using a checklist standardized by the Ecuadorian Agency for Agricultural Quality Assurance. As a result of said information, an appropriate procedures manual was prepared for the farm's production system in the areas of biosecurity, artificial insemination, gestation, maternity, and weaning, in which it is recommended that the farm implement a quarantine area, as part of the Biosecurity measures, to reduce the probability of transmission of diseases from one farm to another.
