The collection of information necessary to carry out the work was through a diagnosis using a checklist standardized by the Ecuadorian Agency for Agricultural Quality Assurance. As a result of said information, an appropriate procedures manual was prepared for the farm's production system in the areas of biosecurity, artificial insemination, gestation, maternity, and weaning, in which it is recommended that the farm implement a quarantine area, as part of the Biosecurity measures, to reduce the probability of transmission of diseases from one farm to another.
