| Summary: | This research work concerns a study on "The role of tutor in the Student Formative Process of the Fifth Race Module Child Psychology and Preschool Education in Distance Learning mode E-Learning in Area Education, Art and Communication of the Universidad Nacional de Loja, during the period 2008-2009. Alternative Guidelines " The orientation of the research process was to: General Objective: To analyze the roles played by the tutor for the training of students in the distance mode of the Race of Child Psychology and Preschool Education of the Department of Education, Arts and Communication from the Universidad Nacional de Loja. To carry out this investigation, we used a direct, participatory approach, where the informants are permanently involved in the process, providing inputs to facilitate the process of realization of the tutorial. Among the methods used were inductive, deductive, statistical and descriptive, which helped them to obtain, process and analyze information. The main results to be reached, are in correspondence with the stated objectives and the hypotheses proposed in the research project. It is noteworthy that it was complying with those objectives and hypotheses were tested. As a main conclusion, it was determined that the role of tutor in the student's learning process must change, because, its behavior is not consistent with what sucks the modern distance education today. Guardian is required committed to his work, creative, innovative, you know to use new information technologies and communication in the teaching-learning process. The activity of the tutor, is a key element to achieve the teaching-learning process and its function should be aimed at achieving a comprehensive education of the student, which must exercise a competent, responsible, ethical and committed to their profession. A mentor is an important social agent, because it is a multiplier of effort for the personal and professional development of students. |
