Estudio geológico- geotécnico del área de influencia directa del proyecto de riego Fátima entre los sectores Dur Dur - Fátima de la parroquia Chantaco, provincia de Loja.

This work was conducted in the Province of Loja, specifically in the Parish Chantaco between sectors Fatima - Dur Dur, the area is characterized by agricultural production and hence the need for irrigation water in all months of the year, prior the development and implementation of this research work proceeded to data collection Zoning Plan of the Parish Chantaco (2011), after the collection of this information began with the field phase, which consisted of the location of the main pipeline survey of the entire project area, was the design of four secondary lines, and the geological map was drawn - based structural outcrops in the industry and there is a translational sliding rocks and soil was calculated at the same safety factor and their stabilization measures. Post was drawn map of landslide susceptibility establishing four ranges: low, medium, high and very high, that in order to control the water irrigated areas that are more susceptible to landslides. Based on the results it is intended that the channel length is 3.41 km with an area of direct influence of 36.74 ha, the rock mass of the sector has a very good quality as a basis for foundation engineering works. With the implementation of this irrigation project will directly benefit 150 people dedicated to agriculture and livestock, it is worth noting that the population of neighborhood Fatima according to the Land Use Plan (2011) is 150 people, with the implementation of the project agricultural development sector will be larger providing better opportunities for development to its inhabitants.
