الملخص:The present work is oriented to study the degree of susceptibility to landslides, which can affect negatively the population and the implementation of engineering works in Sector prick Chico until Guild Quarter, the same found in the sucre parish belonging to the Cantón Province and Loja. For the preparation of this work, a set of technical parameters was performed both in the field data collection and office, among which one can mention the topographical, geological, geomorphological survey along with the application of geophysics in this case SEV (Vertical Electrical soundings), which allowed the determination through electrical resistivity, lithology and presence of water strata, thus correlating with the geological survey done before. For obtaining susceptibility map proceeded to the application of the heuristic method, in combination with the methods rank sum and the expected value, where we considered determinants of slides, which were grouped in conditions such as : intrinsic (geology, geomorphology and slope), and as physical-biological (current land) condition. Analysis of landslide susceptibility was performed by evaluating the field, where the already generated inputs or variables such as components of the intrinsic condition, and physical and biological was used, to which the processed low sequence construction model "model builder". When susceptibility map is composed of five hazard classes, representing the percentage area of study: Very Low 51.36%, 13.49% Lower, Middle 17.69%, 9.04% and High Very High 8.42%.
