| Samenvatting: | In the era of digital technology and globalization, access to financial services has become essential for economic growth and social inclusion. Electronic banking, for its part, is a powerful tool to facilitate access to financial services in a more agile and comfortable way. The objective of this research is to analyze the use of electronic banking and its impact on financial inclusion; A quantitative approach was used, using the Logit regression model to predict the probability of using electronic banking, which showed that the determining factors that influence the probability of using electronic banking were internet access, gender and level of education.;382 surveys were applied in a population sample that corresponds to the urban sector of the city of Loja. The main results show that the Sucre, Sagrario and San Sebastián parishes are the areas where electronic banking is used the most, with the male gender having the greatest access; Likewise, the main levels of education in this study show that the more prepared they are in the educational field, the more likely they will be to use digital financial services. Additionally, it was observed that the large part of the sample uses financial services at 81.59%, while a significant part does not use it and represents 18.49%; It is concluded that the data obtained can be very useful for financial institutions and other actors seeking to promote financial inclusion through electronic banking. |
