总结: | Ecuador has adopted from 2011 the Organic Law of Donation and Transplantation of Organs, Tissues and Cells, nevertheless, the unavailability of organs is one of the main complications which most countries face, this can be attributed to the lack of information or promotion, it is how the present research project was determined: Knowledge and attitudes about organ donation and transplantation, in the students of the Nursing Career of the National University of Loja, whose purpose is: Identify the socio demographic characteristics of the students of the Nursing Career to define its encouragement on knowledge and attitudes towards organ donation and transplantation; determine the knowledge about organ donation and transplant, legal framework that protects it and institutions that control, regulate, promote and perform; and to know the attitudes before the donation and transplant of organs of whispered population. It is a descriptive, quantitative and cross-sectional study, with the participation of 106 students, for the data collection a survey was used, the results which have been showed that most of the students comprise an age of 20 to 22 years, who are in the sixth cycle, there is a predominance of the female sex, a large part comes from the urban area and recognizes the catholic religion, likewise 64% of them have an average level of knowledge and 93.4% have an attitude of acceptance.
