ESTUDIO DEL HACINAMIENTO CARCELARIO Y SU VULNERACIÓN A LA INTEGRIDAD PERSONAL DE LAS PERSONAS PRIVADAS DE LIBERTAD

The following research work entitled “Study of prison overcrowding and its violation of the personal integrity of Persons Deprived of Liberty” aims to analyze the influx of prison overcrowding or overcrowding, the violation of the personal integrity of those deprived of liberty, and it is that in this work of curricular integration I want to reflect the concept of overcrowding and that, the fact that this phenomenon exists in the Centers of Deprivation of Liberty in the majority of the country, is causal and one of the main reasons for it to be come to violate this constitutional right as is the right to personal integrity. For the development of this research of legal relevance, different research parameters such as doctrinal, legal and conceptual were implemented. In the same way, methods such as: scientific, inductive, deductive, analytical, exegetical, hermeneutic, comparative, statistical and synthetic were used, in addition to the application of techniques such as the survey and the interview, for which information was collected and taken in person from People. Deprived of Liberty, Penitentiary Security and, to the personnel that is part of the National Service of Comprehensive Care for Adults Deprived of Liberty and Adolescent Offenders of the Loja Deprivation of Liberty Center number 1 as a sample, to obtain criteria of people who live day to day this problem, security agents, professionals and specialists, with the sole purpose of verifying the problem and suggesting a way out through a proposal to somehow reduce this phenomenon such as prison overcrowding or overcrowding. With this study carried out, it is evident that there is a high rate of overcrowding and that undoubtedly the Loja Deprivation of Liberty Center number 1, is not in the capacity to house all the Persons Deprived of Liberty that today are serving an enforceable sentence that specifies a sentence imposed. by a competent authority with jurisdiction; On the other hand, due to the increase in crime in our country in the last year, it is reflected that the danger of the Centers increases.
