الملخص: | The Curriculum Integration Paper titled Mathematical Logical Reasoning, Block 3: Statistics and Probability has the general objective of contributing to the improvement of learning through active methodologies to foster mathematical logical reasoning in Block 3: Statistics and Probability, with the aim of promoting students' critical, reflective, and creative thinking, thereby enhancing the teaching-learning process in mathematics. The research is descriptive in nature, with a mixed approach and a non-experimental design. During the research process, the following methods were employed: scientific, descriptive, inductive, deductive, statistical, analytical, and synthetic. To collect information, an interview was conducted with the teacher and a survey was administered to the students to understand their perception of project-based learning. This allowed for the analysis, exploration, and comprehension of the identified problem through the application of a questionnaire. The investigated population consisted of one teacher and nineteen fifth-grade students from the Escuela Municipal Capulí Loma. The results indicated that project-based learning is not used in the mathematics teaching-learning process, and there was also a lack of mathematical logical reasoning, which is reflected in the absence of critical and reflective thinking and in the resolution of mathematical problems. It is concluded that PBL (Project-Based Learning) is a methodology that facilitates the understanding and application of mathematical concepts, promoting meaningful and beneficial learning in the students' overall developmen |
