| Summary: | In the canton Tena is concerned about the pollution of rivers, mainly by the constant discharge of wastewater, use of agrochemicals, the use of chemicals for mining and massive deforestation. Similar problem lies in the area of Venice, livestock activities are a source of constant pollution, environmental control is minimal, risking the health of consumers and the environment. To verify the problem and propose solutions, a study was conducted in a plant growing tilapia called "Mariana Miller" in the area of Venice Left, the study consists of a diagnosis of the operation of the plant and a chemical and microbiological physical analysis quality of water used in the fish plant, three water samples strategic points and rose by laboratory analysis is obtained parameters as potential hydrogen (pH), nitrates (NO3), nitrite (NO2-) , total suspended solids (TSS), Chloride (Cl), sulfates (SO42-), Detergents, cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), index of fecal coliform (NMP/100 ml), index of total coliform (NMP/100 ml), if they meet the maximum permissible limits of water quality for livestock activities, except for lead (Pb) in the three samples collected, presented a value of 0.10 mg/l, exceeding 100% the permissible limits established in the TULSMA, Table 8, the quality of water for livestock activities recorded a value of 0.05 mg/l, which determines the quality of the water is not suitable for the breeding of tilapia. With the results and based on current environmental regulations a plan Environmental Management consisting of four programs aimed at solving the problems encountered and prevent negative impacts on the future consumers of tilapia and fish plant Mariana Miller proposed. Key words: Fish Farming, sampling, analysis, evaluation, Environmental Management Plan, programs. |
