Diagnóstico de salud bucodental y factores de riesgo en el centro educativo secundario colegio de bachillerato Dr. Baltazar Aguirre de la Parroquia Quinara del Cantón Loja año 2013

Oral diseases are a public health problem affecting humans, in our province have a high number of oral diseases throughout the population especially in children and adolescents. Being necessary to intervene to improve oral health , and thus preserve and maintain your teeth . In this issue we conducted a quantitative study , transversal, descriptive aim was to make the diagnosis of oral health among secondary school students Baccalaureate College " Dr. Baltazar Aguirre " in the parish of the canton Quinara Loja in 2013 , the study was conducted in 186 adolescents to assess their dental status , oral hygiene and periodontal . For data collection techniques were used as direct observation and interview and instruments such as the Dental Clinic History and survey. The following results 99.46 % of dental caries ; 42,47% of gingival inflammation and the group most affected was 12-17 years, in relation to the risk factors the most important were the excessive consumption of cariogenic foods , the inattention and dental services as well as poor oral hygiene habits.
