Sumario:In the city of Loja, Landslide on slopes and embankments are the natural hazard that affects mountain roads and neighborhoods. For these reasons, in this thesis landslide susceptibility pathway of neighborhood integration (Angel Felicísimo Rojas) from Ciudad Victoria sector until the Silver, was held on susceptibility testing was performed using the heuristic method and the weighted sum variables taken into account geological, geomorphological, topographical as the slope and land use. This paper presents a set of technical parameters was performed in both data collection in the field and office, such as topographic, geological, geomorphological survey, as well as the application of geophysical methods for this case SEV (Vertical Electrical Sounding) , Standard penetration test (SPT) which facilitated the geotechnical characterization of materials. From the above variables thematic maps of each of the variables was developed evaluating the intervention in the processes of landslides. With the GIS (ArcGIS 10.1), was processed each variables digitally superimpose thematic maps for obtaining the landslide susceptibility map with five categories: very low with 8.64% which represents 6.43 Ha; Low comprising 45.23% representing 33.64 Ha; with 28.42% Average 21.14 representing Ha; high with 12.85% which represents 9.56 Ha. and very high susceptibility to 4.81% representing 3.58 Ha. of the entire study area. The results of this research to identify critical areas in certain sectors and will be useful for decision making for land use planning and urban expansion projects of the city of Loja.
