Tilføj Tag | Summary: | The general objective of this research is to "propose a management model for the sustainable development of the Reinaldo Espinosa Botanical Garden in the canton and province of Loja", and the specific objectives are: to carry out a tourism situational diagnosis of sustainable development of the Reinaldo Espinosa Botanical Garden, to formulate an adequate proposal for sustainable tourism development for the Reinaldo Espinosa Botanical Garden and to propose a management model to promote sustainable development in the Reinaldo Espinosa Botanical Garden. The research is based on a mixed approach, that is to say that it helps us to collect and analyze all the information both quantitative and qualitative, also used methods such as deductive, inductive and bibliographic, which with the help of the methodology of Sergio Molina was able to determine the current situation of the Reinaldo Espinosa Botanical Garden, This methodology, with the help of Sergio Molina's methodology, allowed us to determine the current situation of the Reinaldo Espinosa Botanical Garden, revealing that this attraction has all the characteristics for the generation of different activities that link tourism with the care of the environment, and with the help of techniques such as interviews, surveys, direct observation and SWOT, it revealed the visitor's profile, the activities they would like to do at the site and the positive relationship that exists between the management and sustainable development variables. Finally, we were able to establish strategies with an environmental tourism approach, where the National University of Loja with related careers and the Ministry of Education Zonal 7 are linked and participate directly with the Reinaldo Espinosa Botanical Garden, promoting the benefits of education, research and environmentally friendly tourism. |
