Resumo: | According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Teenage Pregnancy remains one of the main factors that contribute to Maternal and Infant Mortality and the circle of disease and poverty. The present study is descriptive - transversal, the same one that was carried out in the “Adolfo Valarezo” Educational Unit of the Loja city, in the period from January to July 2019. The objective was to establish the level of knowledge and attitude that students from 15 to 19 years of age have the Adolfo Valarezo Educational Unit, in relation to Teenage Pregnancy; the sample was represented by 248 students; To obtain the information, a survey structured by 34 questions of both knowledge and attitudes was used as an instrument; which allowed to determine that 39.9% maintain a high level of knowledge; followed by 34.3% who have low knowledge. Regarding attitudes, it is shown that young participants have indifferent attitudes (47.2%); However, the rest of the population have positive and negative attitudes, the latter prevailing.
