Přidat tag | Shrnutí: | In order to know the current situation of apicultural production systems arose to the Universidad Nacional de Loja present research work called diagnosis of beekeeping in the cantons of Celica production systems, located to the South West of the province of Loja. La tool used to diagnose Pindal and Zapotillo was the survey, which was applied to beekeepers in each canton to identify the beekeepers proceeded to the "snow ball" application of the statistical method (sampling 2001), that it consists in identifying the first producer, who provided the name and address of the next, and so on, until the end of the sector (district or parish). The information collected and analysed allows to say the following: the bees used for the production of honey and pollen in the cantons of study are: bees of the genus melipona, which include three; Scaptotrigona melipona spp. (catianas or Katana), the Melipona mimetica (Bermejo), the undecided Melipona (Cananambo) and the bee of the genus Apis mellifera. In the canton Celica 86, 3% of beekeepers is dedicated to the use of bees melipona and 13.79% bees of the genus Apis mellifera. While canton Pindal of beekeepers total 89.3% Apis is dedicated to the exploitation of melipona and 10.7% bees mellifera, in both that in canton Zapotillo 33.3% of beekeepers Apis is engaged in export of melipona bees and 66.7% bees APIs mellifera. System that predominates most is the system of commercial production where 60% of beekeepers apply it and 30% do so for a family purpose. The hives for the accommodation of melipona bees are trocos and boxes country houses of different sizes and for bees of the genus Apis used hive is the langtronth. Production of honey produced per year is distributed follows, Celica samourais 2320 liters/year, and in Apis mellifera annual production is 1000 liters, Pindal, billhooks 1690 litres / year, bermejos 128 litres/year and in Apis mellifera annual production is 440 liters. Zapotillo, Melipona catana 80 litres per year and in Apis mellifera annual production is of 2600 litres. |
