| الملخص: | Oral language is one of the main characteristics of human beings, they are the ones that have developed the most complex and efficient communication systems that human beings have to communicate, allowing us to understand and express thoughts and feelings, through it we can engage in dialogue with our peers and thus help us understand the information. The present investigation had as a general objective to determine how verbal games improve oral language in children from 3 to 4 years of age of the Edison Calle Loaiza basic education school in the city of Loja, period 2022-2023, in the same way for its realization was counted on a mixed approach, of a quasi-experimental design, for which some methods were used such as inductive, deductive, analytical and synthetic employed to achieve the objectives set. On the other hand, the PLON-R Test instrument was used, applied to a population of 18 children, from 3 to 4 years old, from this group, it was evidenced that 28% of children were at a normal language level, after the Application of the activity guide "Let's learn to play with words through the use of verbal games, a significant change was verified, reaching 61% of children at this level. Concluding verbal games are an effective tool that helps children improve their verbal expression, correct pronunciation of phonemes, sound discrimination, spontaneous expression, comprehension of stories narrated by an adult and hold long conversations with their peers.
