Shrnutí: | The general objective of this curricular integration work is to conduct an analytical study of family finances and their relationship with the standard of living of the residents of the city of Amaluza. Responsible money management makes it possible to face economic challenges, achieve goals, prepare for the future and enjoy a higher quality of life. It is essential for families to acquire financial knowledge and skills to make informed decisions and ensure a sound financial future. For the development of the study a mixed approach methodology was used, in addition, the data collection technique used was the questionnaire and with the relevant information it was possible to design a guide containing topics such as: financial system, budgeting, savings, financial products and services. The sample of this study consisted of 290 households belonging to the city of Amaluza. Among the main findings of the curriculum integration work, 67% of the heads of household sometimes record their monthly income and expenses. In the same way, it is evident that financial planning does not directly influence the level of household savings; the level of savings depends on the monthly income of the head of household, with 50% of the heads of household tending to have an optimal level of savings. Finally, we evaluated the knowledge imparted through the training provided was evaluated; therefore, the impact of this training was positive for the heads of household. |
