Resumo:This paper addresses the design and construction of a solar air conditioning system for a room in the canton Catamayo type, the team backed the conventional grid power, the cooling system used for the production of cold, is the domestic absorption refrigerator, the same one he made an electric adaptation installing a resistor in the generator as a power source equipment to launch the absorption cycle. To find and compare the data investigated solar radiation monitoring at the site of application for a period of six months which are most representative of the year, which range from the month of July to the month December 2012, monitoring is conducted using a wireless measurement equipment solar variables. We determined the thermal load of the area used for the air conditioning, considering both internal and external factors that influence it, we finally figure indicates the required cooling capacity of the machine to be produced by the cold. The computer tests indicate an acceptable performance considering the cooling system and the power source used. The system will cover 70% of the cooling demand on a typical day of operation.
