Sammanfattning:c. ABSTRACT The National Immunization Strategy is a joint action of the nations of the world and of international organizations interested in supporting actions aimed to achieve universal vaccination coverage. The proposed objectives were: Identify the pediatric factors, point out the institutional factors and establish the maternal factors, which influence the non-completion of the vaccination scheme of children under 24 months. The recognized study was descriptive, transversal, in which a survey was applied to mothers of children under 24 months of El Centro de Salud. The results reveal that children with delay or abandonment of the vaccine scheme are between 13 and 24 months old; half of the children were not vaccinated because of the post-vaccine reactions and because of they were sick on the day of the vaccine; more than half of the mothers report that they always find the vaccines they need, in less percentage who mention them for another date; likewise, they report that the treatment is only sometimes kind. Among the pediatric factors, the highest percentage of children with incomplete vaccination schemes are between 13 and 24 months old. Inside the institutional factors, more than half of the mothers report that they always find the vaccines they need, in smaller percentages they express that they are dated for another date. In relation to maternal factors, they are young mothers between the ages of 20 and 24, with a level of education between primary and secondary. Keywords: Non-completion, vaccine scheme
