Resumo:Viral hepatitis infection "A" is one of the public health problems that silently attacks the Ecuadorian population that lacks basic health infrastructure that is associated with poor hygiene of the population, this disease especially affects children and why not to say that the school institutions share food and toilets that are in poor hygienic conditions. Reason for which the following was proposed study entitled: Determination of anti HAV (Hepatitis A virus "A") in relation Predisposing Factors in Schools and Colleges Parroquía Buenavista, whose objectives were: to determine the presence of HAV by immunochromatography method, and its relationship with predisposing factors, the study was cross-descriptive, we worked with a sample of 130 students of the school and college who met inclusion criteria, using the immunochromatographic method, a survey was also applied for the predisposing factors, reaching the following conclusions: 7 cases of Hepatitis found "A" is equal to 5% and in respect of the predisposing factors were found to affect 74% consumption of untreated water, 66% from unwashed hands, a 65% food away from home, 55% poor food hygiene and lack of hygiene of toilets institutions 46%.
