The survey sample consisted of 30 older people and 14 staff interviews caregiver with the following results Carers In addition, favorable criteria exist for older persons on the dealings with, 43.90 % as a result of the care they provide people working in the nursing home, despite the limitations found. Older Persons comprehensive care.La persona adulta mayor requiere cuidado y atención, es por ello que la investigación gira en torno a LA ATENCIÓN INTEGRAL A LA PERSONA ADULTA MAYOR, y sus implicaciones en la vida y en su relación con las personas cuidadoras. El presente trabajo investigativo se realizó en el Hogar Santa Teresita del Niño Jesús de Loja. El Objetivo fue determinar de qué manera las actitudes y percepciones de las personas cuidadoras influyen en el cuidado integral de las personas adultas mayores del Hogar Santa Teresita del Niño Jesús de Loja; el estudio fue de tipo descriptivo e interpretativo por que consiste en llegar a conocer las situaciones, costumbres y actitudes predominantes a través de la descripción exacta de las actividades, objetos, procesos y personas que trabajan en el Hogar. Además se aplicó una encuesta a las personas adultas mayores, y una entrevista al personal cuidador del hogar. La muestra fue de 30 encuestas a las personas adultas mayores y 14 entrevistas al personal cuidador obteniendo los siguientes resultados: El 50,00% de las personas cuidadoras tienen la edad de 26 a 35 años y son de género femenino. Y que todos terminaron su bachillerato, es importante destacar que el 76.79% de las Personas Adultas Mayores son solteras de género femenino. Además, existen criterios favorables de las personas adultas mayores, sobre el trato que reciben con el, 43,90%, como resultado de la atención que brindan las personas que laboran en esta casa de salud, pese a las limitaciones encontradas.
