| 總結: | The present study : " DYDROGESTERONE : EFFECTIVE TREATMENT OF PRE DELIVERY TERM THREAT " is comparative , analytical, prospective and cross-sectional ; conducted by the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Regional Hospital Isidro Ayora in the city of Loja from September 2012 to April 2014. The overall objective was to evaluate the efficacy of Didrogesterona versus nifedipine to recommend its use in health centers in our town. The specific objectives were proposed: Identify which treatment produces inhibition uterus within shorter time. Check what the drug that produces fewer adverse reactions is. Determine the most cost-effective treatment in patients with preterm labor. The sample consisted of 51 pregnant women with definitive diagnosis of threatened preterm birth, randomized 26 of them I apply the treatment with dydrogesterone and 25 expectant treatment is performed with nifedipine. Determining that the first groups of 26 users the 46.15 % were admitted to the service of Gynecological Obstetrics 3 contractions in 10 minutes. The 53.84 % 31- intensity 45 seconds of moderate intensity (++). At 30 minutes into the treatment, a 42.30 % of users showed a contraction in 10 minutes. At 60 minutes, in 50% of uterine activity process. Two hours 100 % had no uterine activity. In the second group of 25 users 52 % were admitted to the service of Obstetrics Gynecological 2 contractions in 10 minutes. The 60 % intensity > 30 seconds low intensity (+). Within 30 minutes of starting treatment 48 % of users presented two contractions in 10 minutes. At 60 minutes 60% of uterine activity process. Two hours 92 % of pregnant women showed no uterine activity. At 3 hours 100 % had no uterine activity. 100 % of users showed no adverse effects in relation to treatment with dydrogesterone and treatment with nifedipine. Therefore the use of dydrogesterone is recommended as an alternative treatment for preterm labor for its efficacy, good tolerance and few side effects, and cost affordable treatment.
