Označite | Izvleček: | Since the appearance of the first computer systems, information and communication technologies have had a privileged relationship with the financial sector, becoming tools for transformation and innovation to improve internal processes such as transaction management and interconnection with payment systems. The purpose of the study is to determine the interaction between the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the financial operations carried out by users in the city of Loja. The research was descriptive. On the other hand, it was correlational given that the most relevant variables of the study were used to determine the relationship between them, by means of Spearman's coefficient. The methodological approach was mixed, the research techniques were the survey which was applied to a sample of 384 users, taking into account as a reference the test of the Association of Users of Banks, Savings Banks and Insurance Companies. According to the results obtained from the survey, it was evidenced that users prefer to use mobile banking due to the ease of processing transactions at different times and places in the city. In general, it is concluded that users lack knowledge about the benefits and operation of the technologies implemented by financial institutions. |
