Resumo:This thesis work entitled, TECHNIQUE OF THE TURTLE TO DECREASE THE AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR OF CHILDREN OF HIGH SCHOOL OF CARLOS AUGUSTO ORTEGA ERIQUE DEL CANTÓN CATAMAYO ACADEMIC PERIOD 2018-2019 SCHOOL, had as a general objective to identify how the technique Turtle influences the aggressive behavior of high school children. It is a mixed study with a descriptive approach, the methods used were scientific, analytical, pre-experimental, descriptive statistics; To observe the classification and frequency of aggressive behavior of children, the observation guide was used. The sample was chosen under the criterion of non-probalistic of the intentional sampling type of 10 children aged 5 to 6 years. The following results were obtained: 70% gestural aggressiveness, and 54% presented physical aggressiveness and 53% verbal. An activity guide called “Tortuguitas in action” was made to reduce aggressive behavior based on the turtle technique, where 87% of the children complied with the proposed activities; When performing the final evaluation, aggressiveness was reduced to 7% in gestural, 6% physical and 8% verbal. It is concluded that the impact of the alternative proposal managed to reduce aggressive behavior by internalizing the three phases of the turtle in the child and at the same time not using external stimuli but adequate self-control, it is recommended to apply the activity guide.
