| Riassunto: | The interventions of nursing in patients admitted in a specific Hospital Area, are activities of vital importance that constitute a significant factor for the re-establishment of health of the patients.This present research has as aim to learn about the interventions made by staff nursing for prevention of infections in-hospital in hospitalized patients at the Julius Doepfner Provincial General Hospital of the Zamora city period September-2018 August-2019, based in therapeutic relationship nurse/or patient This study was descriptive, quantitative and cross-section, with a universe of 48 nursing professionals that working in this health home, the instrument used in this research for data collection was the observation guide which was made up of several items and applied in different areas of work to nursing professionals and review of medical records. The obtained results were processed in the SPSS program, reaching to conclusion the most of staff predominate in the female gender, who range in age from 29 to 56 years. The most part with third-level academic instruction in Bachelor of Nursing that constitute a vast majority in the areas of Clinic, Neonatology and Emergency. In respect of the incidence of in-hospital infections were found respiratory infections with 32% urinary infections and surgical wound infections with 20%.Finally with regarding to nursing interventions the 70% of nursing staff complies with bio-security standards established Key Words.
